Bishop Thomas Aremu of the Living Faith
Church, Bashorun, Ibadan has stated that
obedience is key to experiencing the
blessings of New Dawn ordained for the
saints.

.He posited that the cost of obedience
is cheap compared to the devastating effect
of disobedience.
.
Bishop Aremu who took the first message
today at the ongoing ‘annual convocation’ of
the church spoke in a sermon titled: “The
Force of Obedience.”
.
Citing Abraham as an example when God
called him out of his father’s house without
clear direction, Aremu stressed that delayed
obedience is no obedience, therefore, obeying
God has to be prompt.
.
He said: “If you are waiting for complete and
explanatory information before you follow
God’s Word, you may never obey Him.
.
Position yourself to listen to His voice and
dive into it immediately.
.
“With obedience, you are with God and by
disobedience, you are on your own. You need
God every moment and you can only connect
to Him by obeying His instructions.”
.
Aremu disclosed that obedience fast-
forwards one’s destiny and brings one under
the covenant of blessing while disobedience
delays destinies and brings curses.

He mentioned that the first and second
miracle performed by Jesus Christ was
prompted by obedience.
.
“Without obedience, there will be nothing like
New Dawn . Give it whatever it takes to obey
God. You cannot continue with the old way of
living and experience New Dawn.
.
“Satan delights in your disobedience because
he wants to devastate you, don’t give him
any chance.” He said.

Commenting on the message, the President
of the commission, Bishop Oyedepo noted
that it takes the spirit of obedience to
dislodge the spirit of disobedience.
“Every move of obedience opens new chapter
to one’s life,” the cleric noted, urging
everyone to pray for a fresh baptism of the
spirit of obedience.
